Replacing all teeth

To replace all missing teeth, there are three options:

  Removable complete denture  
   
  Removable complete denture is the quickest ways to replace all missing teeth, but after discovery of dental implants, using this denture without implants to support it is considered history. All studies shows that using dental implants to support removable denture is standard of care compared with complete denture alone  

  Implant supported complete overdenture

This is the ideal option to replace all teeth using removable appliance. It is the middle option and it is less costly in comparison to implant fixed bridge or denture which is the ideal
 
 
 
 
 
Two or four implants are placed in the jaw then:

the denture is attached to implants directly.  
a bar is fabricated to attach all implants and the denture will attach to the bar  
 

  Fixed bridge on 6-10 implants  
   
  This is the ideal option to replace all missing teeth. The number of implants needed for each patient are determined by the implant dentist after studying many factors
