Replacing some teeth
For replacing some missing teeth, there are three options :
Removable denture
Making removable denture is the easiest and least expensive ways for replacing teeth. This option is not the ideal because it does not prevent bone resorption, but it is temporary solution to keep the space and prevent other problems
Fixed bridge
Making fixed bridge is the other option for replacing missing teeth. To make a bridge, we need to have normal teeth on both sides of extraction area. We need to prepare these teeth to accept the bridge.
One of the problems of the fixed bridges is accumulation of food remnants under it, and difficulty in removing these remnants especially with poor bridge design which cause bad odor, periodontal diseases, and caries in adjacent teeth.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are the ideal and most advanced choice for replacing missing teeth. Root form implants are considered the best discovery in modern dentistry
